Morrison’s career began in 1982, working for Art and Frame Source, a decorative home art company. Over the years, Morrison has also worked with several publishers to create concept art for various tabletop and video games. Throughout his career, Morrison has established his undying love of dragons and can often be found sharing that love with others in the dragon community.

Since 1993, Morrison has been showcasing his art at various conventions, and has earned numerous awards for his beautiful works. He’s an active member of several artistic communities, and constantly inspires artists around him with his unique artistic expressions.

Morrison’s Garden Dragons were originally designed for an art benefit with an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme. As a fan of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Morrison was intrigued and excited by what dragons may look like in that world.

When Morrison designs Garden Dragons, he envisions what mischievous dragons may look like if they chose to camouflage themselves in various plants or trees. The series has since evolved to include Drink Dragons.

While Morrison still regularly attends conventions, he has slowed down in creating new series over years. Instead, Morrison has taken experimenting with new art techniques, and helping grow his community in other ways. However, as an accomplished artist and creative thinker, The Dragon Store is proud to be carrying Stanley Morrison’s unique Garden Dragon series.
